I am slowly recovering from intense and painful oral surgery completed this past Tuesday, surgery to fix a root canal complication. That root canal of tooth #30 was completed by Dr. Wolgin on 8/26/16. Significant bacteria growing at the base of one of the roots of 30 was identified on a routine X-ray completed by a dental office in the same medical tower as Dr. Wolgin. That X-ray was done on 5/22/22. That same dental office referred me to Dr. Wolgin on 8/26/16. The dentist felt she was not able to interpret the X-ray of the root canal problem and said a specialist would have to look at the images. Of course I contacted Dr. Wolgin’s office for assistance. Despite the fact he had completed the root canal and there were past and current X-rays at his disposal, I was told that I would have to pay over $300 to see Dr. Wolgin. I asked to speak to him about the situation and the desk staff denied my request. I was told that MAYBE if my dentist contacted Dr. Wolgin, he might provide input. Of course I requested that of the dentist and she informed me that she left a message for Dr. Wolgin but he had not responded. I called Dr. Wolgin’s office on two occasions and even went in person on 8/11/22 in hopes that someone would have enough common sense and decency to understand that all I needed was his input on X-rays on a root canal done by him that has ended up in a very compromised situation. I got nothing. Eventually I needed to secure surgical care at Penn Dental to remove the infection. I was told by the doctor at Penn that it’s possible that the infected root was not properly treated at the time of the original root canal. Let me tell you, the surgery to correct this problem was 10 times worse than a root canal. The bottom line is, what kind of doctor feels no sense of obligation to support past patients when they later have a problem? It would have taken Dr. Wolgin five minutes to look at X-rays. I got my first root canal here. And everything was great. The staff was so friendly, and Dr. Wolgin was amazing. I felt at home with them. And in the event I need to go again I would choose the Wolgin group 100%

Great office, clean, courteous and professional. I saw Dr Quick and she was friendly, knowledge and painless. I hope you never need a root canal but if you do, this us the place to go

Also had an unexpected root canal this past week. Literally was able to get in same day after a referral from my dentist. Of course it *is* a root canal - nothing great about that - but this was about as positive an experience as was possible given the circumstances. Friendly front desk staff (help to direct to validated parking and to get us in right away), assistant during the procedure. Dr. Wolgin was an absolute pro. Positively excellent. No complications, minimal ache that advil can handle. I hope nobody has serious dental work to be done, but if they do this is the place to go. Strong recommend.

This was my first root canal. The entire experience was really great. Both the office managers where kind , patient, and helpful. Then once in the chair the dental technician was lovely in every way. Next came the doctor who diagnosed and began treatment in moments. The actual procedure felt more like a message. Thanks to everyone at Wolgin Endodontics 😁

Edit: a couple years later, I had the same experience. This place is just wonderful. Original comment was from about 3 years ago and it's fine below this one. Just had a root canal done, they were absolutely amazing. I have an issue with anxiety and panic attacks and they were very calm with me. I would 100% recommend! Dr. Wolgin and the nurses are amazing!! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

After having a really bad and painful experience at another dentist the week before, I was extremely nervous to get a root canal done. Dr Wolgin and his team made me feel at ease and super comfortable in order to have the procedure completed. I can't thank him and his team enough for their patience and understanding.
